Biography
Robbert Slooten is a Consulting Director specialising in renewable energy and corporate decarbonisation. He leads advisory work across power purchase agreements (PPAs), energy strategy, fleet electrification and onsite renewables, helping organisations deliver complex energy transitions in practice.
With over a decade of experience, Robbert has advised multinational organisations on renewable energy procurement and carbon reduction strategies. Most recently at Schneider Electric, he contributed to more than 20 TWh of contracted renewable electricity across Europe, the US and APAC.
He combines strong commercial and technical insight with deep experience in evaluating energy markets, structuring procurement processes and supporting PPA negotiations. Robbert works closely with procurement, finance, legal and executive teams to translate climate ambition into commercially sound, executable strategies.
Prior to Schneider Electric, Robbert held global sustainability roles at Philips and Signify, delivering large-scale programs spanning climate strategy, operational decarbonisation and circular economy initiatives across global value chains. Robbert holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, specialising in sustainable energy and innovation management.
Outside of work, Robbert enjoys travelling, staying active and exploring Australia. He is also a certified RAISE youth mentor and is passionate about volunteering to give back to his community.
