Matthew Coleman is a Client Partner at Pangolin Associates, responsible for developing strategic client relationships and supporting organisations as they navigate the evolving landscape of climate reporting, decarbonisation and sustainability. In this role, Matthew works closely with executive teams to understand their broader business objectives and identify practical sustainability solutions that deliver long-term commercial and environmental value.

Since joining Pangolin, Matthew has played a key role in growing the firm's strategic client portfolio by building trusted partnerships and expanding client relationships across greenhouse gas reporting, climate-related financial disclosures (AASB S2), decarbonisation, sustainable procurement and ESG strategy. He is recognised for his ability to connect clients with the right technical expertise while translating complex sustainability requirements into practical and commercially focused outcomes.

Matthew brings a strong background in environmental science and client relationship management, combining technical understanding with a strategic, business-first approach. He works across a diverse range of industries, helping organisations strengthen governance, improve emissions reporting, develop decarbonisation pathways and prepare for emerging regulatory requirements.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of New England and is passionate about helping organisations build resilience through sustainability. He believes the greatest value is created when sustainability is embedded within business strategy, enabling organisations to manage risk, strengthen stakeholder confidence and unlock opportunities for long-term growth.
