Biography
Lauren Jensen is Co-Managing Director of Pangolin Associates, leading the strategic growth and delivery of Pangolin’s climate and sustainability advisory services alongside Iain Smale. In this role, Lauren is responsible for shaping Pangolin’s market offering, building senior client relationships, and guiding organisations through the complexities of climate risk, decarbonisation and sustainability transformation.
With more than six years at Pangolin, Lauren has played a pivotal role in the firm’s evolution. She joined as a Senior Consultant and most recently served as Head of Client Solutions, where she led multidisciplinary teams, strengthened client partnerships, and translated emerging climate regulation and market expectations into practical, high-impact solutions for clients across a range of sectors.
Lauren brings a strong commercial perspective to sustainability leadership. Her background in marketing and brand partnerships, combined with technical expertise in climate and sustainability, enables her to bridge strategy and implementation. She supports organisations in developing robust business cases, embedding sustainability into corporate strategy and governance frameworks, and identifying opportunities to innovate while managing climate-related risks.
Lauren holds a Master of Sustainability from the University of Sydney and a double Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Communication from Monash University. She is a registered Climate Active Consultant and regularly advises organisations on emissions reduction pathways, climate disclosures and sustainability strategies.
A purpose-driven leader, Lauren is passionate about helping organisations navigate change with confidence. She works closely with clients to balance regulatory requirements, commercial realities and long-term environmental outcomes, delivering practical solutions that create measurable impact.
