Biography

Léa Valverde is a Manager at Pangolin Associates and leads the Sydney Environmental Impact team, overseeing project delivery, technical excellence, and strategic priorities. She is responsible for fostering a high-performing team culture, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring clients receive high-quality advice that supports compliance and business objectives.

With extensive experience delivering greenhouse gas assessments, Climate Active certification, ESG reporting, and climate disclosure projects, Léa has advised organisations across a range of sectors on responding to evolving sustainability requirements. She is recognised for her ability to balance technical rigour with business pragmatism.

Equally committed to building capability within her team and among her clients, Léa works closely with both to foster sustainability leadership. She provides strategic oversight on complex emissions and reporting engagements, promotes knowledge sharing, and drives initiatives that enhance the quality and efficiency of project delivery, helping organisations and teams build confidence and capability in managing sustainability challenges.

Léa's background in regulatory compliance, quality management, and product development, gained through roles with both global organisations and start-ups, further strengthens her ability to align sustainability initiatives with operational, regulatory, and governance requirements. She holds a Master of Chemical Engineering, specialising in Industrial Project Management, from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse, France.
