Biography
Dee’s formative years were spent in Queensland mining towns Mary Kathleen, on Kalkadoon Country near Mount Isa, built around uranium mining; and later Middlemount, on Barada Barna Country in the Bowen Basin, the heart of coal country.
With more than 20 years' experience in business development and relationship management, including a decade in the energy sector, she spent seven years at Origin Energy across solar, battery storage and virtual power plants, then worked on commercial renewable energy and storage projects for large businesses and local government.
Dee knows a good technical solution is only part of the equation. At Pangolin, she builds new client relationships, working with organisations to understand their climate and energy priorities and connecting them with the team's specialist expertise.
Dee is an accredited solar and battery designer with Solar Accreditation Australia, has completed several courses through the Sustainability Education Academy and is currently studying a Master of Climate Change.
